“If I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies for me and eaten alive.”
― Audre Lorde
Now, In Color is a docu-series that began at Yale in 2015. Each episode is a portrait. Asking “what’s in your cup,” we explored our subjects’ interests; passions; hopes and motivations. The series aims to highlight the breadth and depth that is the Black experience.
The forthcoming season of Now, In Color examines the lives of Black community leaders in four different cities across the country as they each create room for hope, vulnerability, love and justice.
